Every member of the armed forces who allows the commander-in-chief to speak to them as if he were at a political rally in front of civilians is complicit in the pervasiveness of this problem.

Except he’s also the commander and unless there’s wide consensus for them to do that they risk being court marshaled or reprimanded for disrespecting a “superior” and I’m saying this as someone who doesn’t like Trump

I saw something the other day from a service member who had served in active duty and saw Trump speak in Afghanistan. There are personal testaments of this type of thing happening. The commissioned officers, in addition to the rank and file soldiers, probably know better. If they stood up to this administration, it’d be a noble endeavor rather they’re reprimanded or not. They took an oath to the constitution and the people, not to a wannabe despot.
