I am culturally Jewish. Jewish people are wonderful, however, the Israeli government and its actions are to be condemned. The October 7th attacks were terrible, but do not justify the objective slaughter which they have wrought upon Palestine, and the unprovoked war with Iran. I do not support the government of Iran, but there was no good reason for them to begin a war in the middle of another โwarโ with a populous nation minding its own business, for the most part.
Does enrichment of uranium beyond the threshold allowed by IAEA and far beyond that required for energy, coupled with decades of threats to annihilate Israel, not qualify as sufficient provocation to conduct strikes on nuclear sites and kill key personnel in the nuclear program? Or is Iran developing a nuclear bomb part of what you consider โminding its own businessโ?
Iran has been close to nuclear technology for the last thirty years. They and Israel have been in a silent war through sabotage, spies, and cyber warfare to push each other back further away from it. I doubt mossad has suddenly lost that capability; they wanted to make a statement.
