i was talking to a guy in the military and part of me wished it worked out so i could know what they’re being told/what ordinary soldiers are doing about him

not military but yeah that’s the sentiment, though tbf most military folks have served under, known a buddy who served under, or been in the officer’s academy along someone like hegsbreath who was in the military to do paperwork and then go into politics
