I agree with democrats on many issues I just don’t like the woke shit. Whenever I say this they just deny it or try and say “oh well we are woke too bad!”

You need to learn that they do not care about people. Look at what they have done to their cities. Detroit used to be a crown jewel of our country, now it is a welfare state overrun by woman-hating m*slims, only after they abandoned the needs of every poor family there first. St. Louis went from hosting the World's Fair to being one of the most dangerous cities in the country. NYC is inching toward a welfare state every day as wealthy people continue to buy homes in Florida or Texas.

It is no coincidence that democrat-run states have extremely high out-migration to red states that haven't been wrecked by high taxes and high minimum wages yet. It is just a more attractive life.

Which states are actually the welfare states?

Now look by city. And see which party controls them. Also Republican states have suffered for decades under democrat policies that hurt their economies. Democrats killed coal, killed small-city manufacturing, exported all of the cheap labor overseas after raising the minimum wage here. And you wonder why states dependent on mining and manufacturing need government support now. The dems love government dependency.

The difference is that a small mining town NEEDS government support. A dark-blue city like Jackson MS should be an economic success and has the chance to be, but won't because of bad local policy. That is the key difference in these graphs.

What’s your explanation for Ohio? Been Republican run for 30 years. All branches of the government.

Tell me you’ve never been to Detroit and don’t know Michigan history without telling me you’ve never been to Detroit and don’t know Michigan history

We had Clinton and Obama. Globalists who claimed we didn't need cheap labor here and raised the minimum wage exporting it to China and India. Democratic cities were already in shambles after killing their economies in the 50s and 60s, so they decided to kill small-town America as well. All of a sudden it was way cheaper to have a sweatshop in India making clothes than to have a unionized sew shop in a small town here.

Cleveland, Cincinnati, Toledo, Dayton, Youngstown all make up a good chunk of population in OH and are some of the most welfare-dependent cities in the entire state.

The progressives said "let's unionize so much and raise wages so much, while pouring government money into car companies, raise taxes in the process, and force our global dominance in cars elsewhere"
