Fauci has admitted that social distancing had no scientific evidence behind it though

The man that led the United States through COVID and the man that was in charge of promoting masks and social distancing during COVID is on record stating that there’s no scientific evidence for social distancing. It’s also a proven fact that regular face masks did not stop COVID you needed N95 or medical grade masks

The guy appointed by Trump? Who also appointed RFK? Also do you have any proof besides “trust me bro”?

I do not support Trump picking Fauci. During Faucis interview with the House committee he stated that social distancing just appeared and was not based on any science. Look it up. There is no scientific proof that cloth masks help stop covid it was also just assumed that they did

No one claimed they could, the masks are there to keep YOUR spit and mucus to yourself, not the other way around buddy

I mean I don’t know what other proof you want other than Fauci stating in an interview that social distancing is not scientifically proven. It’s on Google with a quick search. If masks are in place to keep people’s spit in there’s a bigger issue. Why are people spitting?

People arnt spitting, spit droplets leave your mouth when you talk, or eat, or cough, you clearly don’t know what your talking about, also your argument is an appeal to authority fallacy

If masks work why don’t we wear them during flu season? During Covid there were nearly no cases of the flu. There’s still no scientific evidence the regular masks help stop the spread of COVID

Fauci is actually very medically competent. His pleas to the Reagan administration regarding HIV/AIDS went unheard, he warned the world of Ebola and helped have it contained, and his advice on COVID was actually pretty sound. The biggest issues with the COVID response were government hesitancy to act and fear from the general public making it difficult for essential workers to follow guidelines properly due to the shortages of equipment like KN95 masks

As for social distancing, it’s not a single-legged measure and it’s circumstantial. For example: It should’ve been used with proper masks, and it should’ve been done only in open air spaces. Social distancing in enclosed spaces was ineffective due to how particles spread in enclosed rooms. The studies on ventilation in rooms helped to further come up with ways to make social distancing more effective indoors, see one of such diagrams below

Yes, and traffic deaths increased after the invention of the seatbelt. Almost like when something becomes marginally safer, people tolerate more risk at a level disproportionate to the marginal increase in safety

Uhm so that’s just not true, the amount of cars, drivers and overall traffic volume increased which is why traffic deaths increased. It’s not like people started crashing because they all of a sudden have a seatbelt 🤣🤣good analogy bro
