Here is a reminder that while third party voters might not have made a huge difference in the presidential race, they did make dems lose a senate seat. Which is arguably more important bc what is the president without congressional approval

And oh look! A bill in the system that detrimental to the lives of millions that could have been stopped quickly if we had that extra seat!

Are you talking about PA where with all of the third party votes combined the dem candidate could have won? Cause that’s a pretty major stretch

I’m not sure why I remember the margin being bigger but it seems like a handful could have simply not voted for the Green Party

In the situation where no one voted third party though the republican still probably would have won, constitution and libertarian parties skew much more toward the republicans

Right, people are saying that if 16k voted for Casey instead of Hazou (Green) then it would’ve been a blue seat

That’s a ridiculous statement though, it’s so sad that people will make these excuses for the dems

And it’s ridiculous that people voted for the Green Party or thought staying home was justified, but here we are after a tie-breaking vote for the OBBB. However, I would’ve bet on Susan Collins folding if there was one more Dem seat

So you’re saying it’s ridiculous that people exercised their right to vote

I think it’s ridiculous that they claimed they were doing something about genocide by staying at home or voting for a candidate that had no chance of winning and has been dead silent since the election

I’m fine with people voting for whoever they want, but they should own the consequences of their votes (or lack thereof)

Someone who even Palestinian said they should not vote for. They wanted Kamala to win because she was better than Trump, but they went directly against what Palestinians wanted. Sure, Kamala wasn’t pro Palestine, but she was pro ceasefire. Trump was pro turn Gaza into a golf course.

Like do people not remember how Palestinians were spray painting on the roofs of their structures with “vote for Kamala” and “Palestinians for Kamala”

Didn’t the founder of Latino(a)s for Trump start backtracking and crying about what’s happening?

It was an open book test, and so many people failed because they decided to blindly follow somebody like a cult instead of actually doing the research and actually opening their ears and using the comprehension that we learned in middle school
