So some Zionist were telling me that Israel kept trying to give the Palestinians their land back but the Palestinians didn’t want it & forced Israel to keep building settlements despite Israel not wanting to & wanting to return land. Is this true?

I mean the camp David accords in 2000 did offer a Palestinian state in 90% of the West Bank and Gaza, not quite the 1948 borders but probably a better offer than they could get today.

Now? Fuck no. 3 decades ago? Yeah, more or less. No one forced Israel to build settlements though. There’s plenty of land inside Israel they could’ve used

Well I tried to looking this as someone who’s uneducated & from reading the specifics of the camp David accords weren’t nearly as good as people make them out to be at the same time most people on this channel say that the settlements could of been stopped by the Palestinians if they wanted to & Israel didn’t really want to build the settlements & is only doing so because of the Palestinians not wanting their land back despite Israel trying to give it to them so I admit

Despite my reading & the specifics not seeming good to me maybe they were actually somehow good & there’s more instances of Israel trying to land back to the Palestinians yet somehow ending up with more settlements idk

If Israel didn’t want to build the settlements and Palestinians could have stopped them, I don’t think Caterpillar would make a specialized bulldozer for the IDF to put armor on so they can destroy homes in the West Bank

I agree that’s why I looked into it & found information that contradicts it but I keep being told by Zionist that it’s true without any real details. So I figured I’d ask about it
