I see people saying it’s wrong & antisemitic to want Israel banned from things like Eurovision or the Olympics etc because those things have nothing to do with what the government is doing. Would it be wrong to ban Nazi Germany from events in the 40’s?

Comparing one ethnostate that invades neighboring countries for the purpose of ethnically cleansing them to another ethnostate that does the exact same thing is the opposite of laughable, actually. Also, Israel was established a year and a half after the Nuremberg trials ended.

Israel’s Basic Law (equivalent of a constitution more or less) *expressly* codifies that people who are Jewish by blood have a greater right to entry and citizenship than every other racial group. That’s an ethnostate by definition.

Nazi Germany was an expansionist ethnostate that committed a genocide to “purify” its population and create lebensraum. Israel is an expansionist ethnostate that is committing a genocide to create more room for its population.
