This is the problem with our generation not living through 9/11. You have no sense of what terrorism actually is and how fucking evil people can be. To even try to compare the US to Al Qaeda or Hamas or ISIS is just silly.

You don’t think the generation with the Boston marathon, beltway sniper, London bombings, Little Rock attack, fort hood attack, endless school shootings and numerous jihadist and far right attacks have impacted this generation? And at least half of us grew up knowing at least someone off fighting the Taliban. We suffer through tons of terrorism, but we also terrorize many others

Buddy idk about you but I’m too young to remember any of those and I don’t know anyone who knows anyone that fought the Taliban I’m 22. Just want to reiterate that it’s crazy to compare to US or the west to actual terrorists when we live in the best time and best society to ever exist, despite all of the evil and actual terrorists in the world 😌😌😌
