Orangutan is right about this. I love meat and I am not vegan, but we could probably stand to eat more nuts and legumes when possible for a few meals per week. Meat at the scale we eat it at is actually really bad for the climate.

I like rehydrating soy protein and pan frying it with steak seasoning. It is very good, especially topped with rice and garlic!

We could especially reduce our consumption of the most resource intensive meats like beef. Beef used to be a prestige food for special occasions. It would be good for the environment if we revived that attitude.

That’s what I’m saying. Idk why people are so morally opposed to that or even plant based stuff if it tastes similar and costs about the same
