they’re basically blocking anyone who disagrees with them, idk how he’s justifying it to themselves, but it’d be hard for him to argue a victim is not disagreeing with the best interest of all victims in mind. he doesn’t wanna talk though he just wants to promote violent, unproductive legislation. not my place to say he may need therapy to work through his desire for violent revenge but it was my place to say not all victims have them & we aren’t a monolith. he wasn’t mature enough for that conv

this was a mess to read: “they’re blocking anyone who disagrees. i don’t know how they are justifying it, but as a victim, i disagree with the best interest of victims in mind. not because i don’t care. he doesn’t care to have a productive conversation though because he’s caught up in punishment & not necessarily helping victims. he shouldn’t act like all CSA victims have violent revenge therapy & would like this outcome in every case.”
