I’m ngl. I’m tired of dealing with the intellectual leftists that treat everyone like shit all the time. It’s one thing to be progressive (I’ve canvassed in 5 different districts….trust me i know) but another to pretend you’re better than others.

I’ve walked through the perspective of Marxists and come out on the other side. You have no idea exactly what they’re saying when you argue with them unless you’ve actually read their books and experience what they see. It’s a genuine cult.

Hot take maybe but If you don’t support Trump you’re automatically a better person

Not you personally but I’m basically saying you can’t penetrate their logic from the outside because evidence against it is just evidence in support of it to them.

I have to like hit pause sometimes and make sure they realize I’m a soc-dem who’s worked to try and flip Andy Harris’s seat 💀

I’m literally a socdem who voted for Kamala and canvassed for Blane Miller. What more could you possibly want for me to be considered anti-trump?

A good chunk of them will shit on me, then say they don’t believe in the electoral politics. Like what?

That’s because their politics are not viewed as politics to them, they’re viewed as a surface effect of material conditions. To them, there’s no sense in participating because it doesn’t address the root issues of inequality and class divide

Sorry, I worded that first sentence weird. What I meant to say was that’s because they believe electoral politics are just a surface effect of material conditions, and that politics are not as relevant as we make them out to be.
