Not anymore. Nukes are nearly 100 years old. We have new things, better things, spectacular things that don’t produce the same fallout. Having nukes now is like owning a switchblade when the people you’re competing with hold long guns. You might piss them off and do damage IF you get the drop, but really you’re just going to make a mess while you get ventilated. Better to settle conflicts in other ways.
