This list comes from Lawrence Britt, a non expert who wrote a magazine article accusing bush of fascism in 2003. The characteristics are overly broad and can be applied to nearly every country. This is not a credible source and you’re destroying your credibility by citing it.

Fascism, describes a political philosophy similar to that is similar to “The Doctrine of Fascism” as outlined by Giovanni Gentile. That is absolutely not the case for the mainstream right. Even these vague characteristics don’t describe the right. How many conservatives oppose a democratic government? The left has accused every major republican of being a fascist or a nazi going back to at least George W Bush. It wasn’t true then and it isn’t true now.
