Hot take: If the school system is gonna teach my kids that there are 76 different genders I don't really give a fuck if they teach them a few lessons from the Bible with it
Ok, let’s teach the Quran, Tanakh, Talmud, Krishna, Vedas, Sutras, Daozang, and hell let’s add the Book of Mormon too!

Weird my history classes were pretty much solely based on LGBTQ+, Womens suffrage, Holocaust, Civil rights, etc. I don't think we ever even studied a war after the first half of freshman year when we did civics and the revolutionary war

Anonymousmushy.the.mushroom2d
and they would absolutely teach LGBTQ theories like 76 genders presented as fact during those units
-1
AnonymousOP2d
… your history teacher told you there were 76 different genders?
Cause that’s what we’re talking about. Not the holocaust, which you seem really upset about being taught in history classes, weirdly.

I think somebody might just be a little hysterical.
3
AnonymousOP2d
Would? Or did?
Pretty big difference there bud.
4
Anonymousmushy.the.mushroom2d
They called it social studies but it very much was just meant to replace the history classes in the curriculum prior to that

Gonna be a little soy, but satanism is also a recognized religious institution. Just sayin.

Lmao. Okay buddy. Time for your meds.

Majority of Americans don't follow those, if we're gonna go that deep we might as well start teaching kids about every single cult ever.

AnonymousOP2d
If you're in Utah or Michigan I could see a serious argument towards the Quran or Book of Mormon

Anonymousmushy.the.mushroom2d
I wrote my religious studies on satanism! It is actually a religious equality group rather than worshipping a demonic being

Quasi religious sexuality education

AnonymousOP2d
All the better to teach them about. Doesn’t really make sense to teach a bunch of kids about a book that half of them take separate classes to study, does it?
3
AnonymousOP2d
So your history teacher told you there were 76 genders?
3
AnonymousOP2d
Or your social studies teacher or whatever?
You were taught that there are 76 genders in school?
3
Anonymousmushy.the.mushroom2d
Yes
-1
AnonymousOP2d
Can you prove that?
5
Anonymousmushy.the.mushroom2d
Or some absurd number to the same effect, I never actually listened to it
-1
AnonymousOP2d
Can you prove that?
5
AnonymousOP2d
Religious sexuality education is usually only based in biblical beliefs and would be against the first amendment
6
Anonymousmushy.the.mushroom2d
No I was 16 and I didn't exactly take pictures of every slide shown in the classroom or audio record every conversation
-2
Anonymousmushy.the.mushroom2d
Believe me if you want or don't if you don't, knowing how much time you spend on here I pity you either way
-6
AnonymousOP2d
Right but if it was in slide shows, that means it was in curriculum.
Surely there’d be evidence of this being taught as a matter of curriculum in *at least one school* in the United States.
Doesn’t even have to be yours.

Go talk to people outside of your home church, you’ll find a wide variety of denominations across the country. They are not limited to a single place

Well here’s the thing, I attended high school. And I *did* pay attention in my classes, and this was never taught.
In fact I attended many schools in varying political climates. Nothing like this. Anywhere.
And I just think you’re a stinky little internet liar, frankly.

Which version of the Bible would you like to use, the one that was written by the Scot who added unicorns, or how about the new world translation of scripture. How do you know what kind of Christian you are without knowing the differences

Are those not historical things that pertain to American history?
