So both Trump, Putin, and Elon both congratulated the German Alt Für Deutschland party (the alt right openly pro-Russia and fascism party) for their minor victory recently. But do tell me how they support democracy and freedom and transparency, please

This isn’t a matter of policy, most leftists are fine with bipartisanship. It’s a matter of rights being revoked and denotative fascism taking over through this cultish nationalism. Hell the German party they endorsed are pro eugenics and are self proclaimed Hitler supporters. You can’t get more “Nazi support Nazi” than that

Real quick, define fascism

Denotative fascism let alone just nationalism. Or are you arguing that the German Für party isn’t fascist, which is just an insult to their own ideals no matter how much I disagree with them. You’re defending a guy that made up a story about 9-11 about being carried out by some hot firemen lmfao. Anything to not admit you voted for a perverted man child I guess

Did you mean "define" when you said "denotative"? Because I can define both fascism and nationalism if you want. Also I need some backstory on the 9/11 comment because I have no clue what that's referring too

No I meant denotative, as in he is depicting denotative fascism according to my definition. And on that topic he recently made up a story about being carried away from the debris by 2 firemen with 6 packs even though he wasn’t anywhere near the towers when they collapsed. Also right after the collapses he was quoted saying this too, he’s a snake

The picture you posted doesn't define fascism it defines general authoritarian nationalism, also neither the AfD or Trump fit this definition

And i'm not surprised Trump would lie about something so stupid

If you know what fascism is then why don’t you give us your own definition? Because plenty of experts both domestic and abroad agree he’s a fascist, you just saying “nu-uh” doesn’t really mean anything otherwise. He supports single party control, big government, is obsessed with national security, unity of religion and government, blatant corruption

Bro's unironically using the Lawrence Britt definition, no that's not the definition of fascism, fascism is an ultranationalist ideology that supports a corporatist or syndicalist economy and a totalitarian state that encompasses every aspect of society. Britt's definition is just a bunch of shit that isn't exclusive to fascism at all

I’m using multiple agreed upon definitions. And by your definition Trump is seeking a fascist state so I don’t know why you’re insisting otherwise? Also having to rely on semantics of “agreeable” detentions isn’t a good defense when it’s a well established source. Even your own definition isn’t exclusive to fascism and isn’t black or white. Fascism is and was a lot more than just Germans with mustaches

You're using fake oversimplified definitions made by the "experts" to be digestible to the average low iq individual. No the billionaire capitalist is not a "fascist" by definition, look up what corporatism is and try to tell me that's what Trump wants.

Also Nazism is it's own offshoot of fascism, I was more talking about classical fascism (the kind Mussolini supported)

Corporatism isn’t exclusive to fascism or vice versa, at least not strictly like you make it out to be 😭 the only evidence experts site against him being fascist is them not believing he would overthrow democracy, he fits nearly every other requirement

Corporatism isn't exclusive to fascism yes, but it is a core tenet of fascism just like ultranationalism, without it it's not actually fascism unless they advocate for something like national syndicalism which Trump absolutely does not support

So he is fascist excluding a component and the other best description for him his hyper nationalist, what a great guy still 😭

Never said I liked him, it's just really annoying constantly hearing people misuse terms they don't understand

Well descriptions are an attempt to put a concrete label on what’s a very grey world, of course they won’t apply perfectly. But as long as we agree he’s nationalist/fascist adjacent then the premise of our ideals are the same and we’re just going to be arguing semantics
