Nothing scares a white republican more than them being treated the same way that they treat minorities, women and immigrants

American politics became about race in like 1619 when the Europeans decided to start that whole Trans-Atlantic Slave Trade thing, it’s been racial ever since then because the powers at the time decided that class would be decided on racial lines.

Bruh I’m talking about OP. You don’t HAVE to make it about race, but OP did. The more we separate each other by party, gender, race, etc. the more the power we as common people lose.

This is a line of political analysis that only a white person could have, minorities did not choose to have their identity politicized. The majority groups politicized their identity when they decided to oppress them. I’m sure minorities WISH they didn’t have to think about their identity so much in relation to how other people and the system treat them.

What rights do white men have that women and non-white people dont? In 2025 we are pretty damn equal on most major fronts, besides how the media portrays stuff. But then you’re letting the media decide how you feel, and that seems sheepish

It’s not about legal rights anymore, it’s about social equality, which does not exist at this point. Even with modern laws that protect everyone’s rights, there’s still very noticeable effects of the racism that used to be in law. Sociologists note a difference between de jure (by law) oppression, and de facto (by fact) oppression in that typically when de jure oppression is undone, the de facto part still holds down the now less oppressed but still downtrodden group.
