Reminder that scholars believe one of the reasons Judas betrayed Christ is because he loved his country and thought Christ had failed it. He put his country over people

Religions are simply cults that killed their competitors centuries ago and now dictate societal agendas for too many people. True democracies require logical thinking

I agree that logical thinking is important, but humans are naturally emotional creatures. And emotion can utilize religion as a coping mechanism. I agree that that should not infiltrate politics, but invalidating the emotional part of emotional creatures seems counterintuitive and illogical.
