
I view the dominance of trinitarianism as more being about which doctrines won out in early Christianity, rather than a fundamental aspect of the entire overarching faith movement itself. Like there used to be some pretty prominent non-trinitarian sects like Arianism. IG because I’m not Christian I’m not particularly invested in categorizing “true Christianity” and I more have the attitude of “Christians are the sects that self identify as such”
I think a lot of those beliefs for me are holdovers from when I was a Christian growing up. In my day to day life, my interactions with Christians and opinions of them are mostly determined by the individuals themselves rather than if their denomination upholds the Nicene Creed or not
