I really can’t recall a period in the last 60 years where conservatism wasn’t primarily guided by faith/evangelism and fears of diversity

Yeah conservatism is just a barbaric belief system. They don’t value any rationality or reason, it’s hatred because they only have gut feelings of disgust whenever there’s something they haven’t heard of before
