I’m the person you responded to. Regardless of whether you are MAGA, this statement applies to MAGA. Clearly it also applies to non-MAGA people who want to engage with this debate. And I agree that there is nuance to it. But as I pointed out, we have bigger fish to fry. More important to protect trans people from hate crimes and government oppression than protect a few female athletes from competition with trans athletes.

It’s really not dude. There is LITERALLY a fascist death cult running my country’s government, and they openly want to kill all trans people. And I say this as a woman who loves to play sports. I want fairness in sports, but NEVER at the cost of safety for trans people. What we are seeing is an over-emphasis on a few niche areas, like sports and bathrooms, and a total lack of support for the everyday struggles of trans people. Love first, then nitty gritty details.
