Absolutely. Lowkey tho I go back and forth on whether the private sector should exist alongside a universal public one. That happens in a lot of countries with universal healthcare. But frankly I am starting to agree more with your side that it just shouldn’t exist. Especially in this country. If the current system is anything less than just outright destroyed it’ll find a way to crawl its way back and enshittificate and abolish the universal system.

Well it’s also that having public and private still creates a tiered system which undermines the public one bc people want the best they can get and value that more, even if their better healthcare comes at the expense of it being exclusive and others getting worse care
