On the one hand you’re not wrong, but I think who lives there now is more important than old territorial claims. And the majority of the populations of these states don’t want to be Mexican. I dont even know if the Hispanic populations of these states would even want them annexed. America is more stable. And if we really cared about who was there first we could ask the native tribes.
