already is basically. try criticizing israel. hell, it’s literally a banned to boycott israel in over a dozen states. the middle east is basically a testbed for the government’s designs for our future. people get all conspiratorial and antisemitic about our relationship with israel but it’s literally just that it’s helpful for the defense contractors to test stuff out. the surveillance tech, ai targeting and automated weapons and so on, obviously this stuff was going to come home at some point
