Let’s not give him all the credit. It was the internet that enabled people to THINK they would get away with being vile. The golden rule is very real thing that is not limited to online interactions.

This is also true, but the sheer amount of racists that have crawled out of the woodwork thanks to Trump and his influence over the GOP (which is just the Trump party now) is astounding
