No. There’s various demons people worship and sacrifice to, in fact every mythological deity demanded sacrifices except one, and he sacrificed himself for us. You can read the ancient or modern books and decode who’s sacrificing to what, just don’t get possessed yourself. You know the name to be used to break a demon’s hold on you, you just don’t like to say it yet.

No, I don’t, Justinian (and what a banger name may I say). I mean PROFIT. The deeply human urge to advance one’s own status irregardless of the cost it inflicts on others. I don’t want to attribute that to the supernatural. Or the biblical.

Not that Jesus was mythological, but you get the general idea of what I’m getting at. It’s a formal practice with various rituals dating back thousands of years with spells mirroring the stars and similar rituals and themes popping up everywhere in the world without social contact with one another.
