Holy shit; the official democrat story really is that we were all too bigoted to suck it up vote Kamala, huh?
Michelle Obama says “don’t even look at me about running” because the the U.S. isn’t ready for a woman President: “That’s why I’m like ‘don’t even look at me about running’ cause you all are lying. You ain’t ready for a woman. So don’t waste my time.”

I mean considering all of the shit that Trump is doing (that we knew he was going to do) it was silly for those who didn’t vote/advocated for others not to vote for Kamala

Killer Kamala and Deathly Donald support Israel, corporations and the billionaires. Nothings fundamentally changed now and nothing would’ve under Harris. We’re all in a doom spiral where each party is the other’s controlled opposition. Even the two nominees in 2016 shared cock. Open your eyes.

Hey so I think you saying that shows you are coming from a privileged place. If Kamala was in office we would not have Tarrifs hiking up groceries, we wouldn’t have ICE attacking people and running modern day concentration camps, SNAP wouldn’t be in limbo, Healthcare wouldn’t be in limbo, the department of Ed would not be gutted, DEI initiatives wouldn’t be gutted, etc. you clearly are in a place where none of those issues affect you so you’re able to have a moral high horse regarding Israel.

more people were deported under biden jsyk. dems were the ones that set this expiration date on the subsidies. dei disproportionately helps white women (the least in need of dei), snap barely feeds people even when it’s funded and trump has already reversed the tariffs. it’s pretty funny how lame the “opposition” to trump is lol

Lol, you got it. Again you aren’t living the life that the people are who have to actually face the consequences of a Trump presidency. What you get to do is pretend to be an Activist online.

Again because you are in a place in your life where you don’t need to and won’t be affected by a Trump presidency💀so you get to focus on being a deep online activist!

This conversation is in bad faith. Goodbye. You helped a racist, bigoted, misogynistic, child predator get into office. “AnD YoUU voTEd fOR GenOCidE” I put your response in my comment that way you don’t need to respond anymore! Night

i still do not understand why the blame is being placed on voters, most of whom have no sway over the general election because of the electoral college, instead of the Democratic party which failed to mobilize its own coalition because it chose to double down on a neoliberal status quo rather than concede to progressives

“Hey so I think what you’re saying comes from a privileged place” like DECIDING that GENOCIDE wasn’t a dealbreaker in a candidate isn’t a privileged choice? Check yourself.

You can’t make me feel bad about a vote when there was no other clear option. Both votes equaled Genocide. One of those votes equaled Genocide + ICE raids, healthcare being threatened, education being gutted, etc. So the other one was someone who on multiple occasions acknowledged that there was a humanitarian crisis happening in Gaza. Did she miss the mark on Palestine, yes. However to pretend like it would have been the same result is silly

Both candidates sucked on Gaza, but one had slightly better domestic policies than the other. When you have two options (there are only two options), we have to work with what we have

I’m sorry that Harris could not have been better on Gaza. 2024 was an awful election and I hope we have better going forward

And where did that compromise get u? Sold out for nothing 🫵🤣 The dems were counting on voters to “suck it up” and it didn’t work. Here you are scolding me for making you feel bad while rationalizing voting for a pro-genocide candidate!

Neither #1, you, myself, nor anyone else here had any control over the options we were given. Idk why you’re laughing at #1 when they just worked w/what they had

Oh it’s clear, you’re laughing b/c Dems’ poor position on Gaza probably intended to placate moderates ended up working against them The problem is you’re laughing at ppl in this thread as if they had any control over the options on the ballot

If you’re laughing at the politicians, sure go ahead If you’re laughing at the ppl in this thread, it makes no sense to do so b/c none of us had any control over the options on the ballot. We had to go with what worked b/w two bad options

I didn’t word this well lol. What I mean is we had to go with what worked for our political views. If I’m a left-leaning person, I would vote for the most viable, left-leaning option, which was at the time Harris

neither is allowing Trump or MAGA Republicans to win If I have in one corner a party w/poor foreign policy and domestic policy, and another a party w/poor foreign policy and okay domestic policy, I’m choosing the latter

I don’t know what you want us to do. Our hands were tied then, as they are now. We don’t control political party decisions as we have no political influence beyond voting
