This is me trying to parse out an event that seemed to blow up from nowhere and was especially polarizing way past Texas. What I originally thought was a story that shouldn’t have had a racial element, turned out to have some of those sentiments fomenting in those two.

Not really a sign Austin was looking for specific trouble that day, and no one testified any racial implications. We’ll see if more evidence comes out, but it seems like it was still just two aggressive guys getting into an argument and one of them turning it into a murder.
