100%, I’ve grown up in very conservative areas and spoken to maga supporters about it and that’s exactly what it is. They do not give a shit about anything most of the time until it affects them. I had a partner that literally told me he didn’t care what happened to other people as long as his family was safe. Sounds sweet, but when you’re talking about people’s rights to exist it’s not as sweet and definitely is selfish .
