I think it means just being happy about where you came from, tbh America is a very young country with a LOT of cultural identities blended together so it’s hard to pinpoint an identity to latch onto but tbh that in itself is something I think is really cool. Like, coming from a melting pot of cultures and experiences so much diversity is something not everyone gets to say they have in their country
