Isn’t it exempt from the covered platforms because it isn’t for profit? They operate on donations and none of the staff is paid (yet) and users do not make money off of it. That’s what I’m hoping is the case even if the bill does end up passing?

Some authors on ao3 violate the TOS and link kofi’s and whatnot, so that could pose a risk for the site if lawmakers decide to dig into ao3 site operations
