I don’t think Zohran would disagree. This mindset is why establishment dems pass literally zero major policies in their 39+ year long careers. The fact that it is hard to pass legislation is not an argument for not trying to pass legislation that would do good. Not to mention that if the DNC wasn’t owned by the rich Mamdani could absolutely implement all his policies.

Rent freezes aren’t the best idea though. They are okay during economic downturn and economic crises but otherwise we’ve seen time and time again that landlords stop investing in their properties and neglect fixing small things.
