If Republicans had hired some guy named Job Ossoff to run for senate in Georgia and his name appeared on the senate race next to Job Ossoff, Democrats would be fuming. This is an attack on Democracy. I know Trump’s involvement and the fact this is partisan triggers the “us vs them” mentality but think for a minute about what’s actually going on and ask yourself if you’d be okay with the other side doing that.

They are paying a dude with the same name as the republican candidate to run. He has no campaign but is on the ballet to divert voters. The election is meant to be especially close so even a few hundreds votes can make the difference.
