Dei is objectively racist. That’s why it’s bad.

why’d we add the A. It’s already included in DEI

The A has always been there. It’s just been taken off to push the narrative that DEI is unqualified black pilots are getting jobs over qualified white pilots. Accessibility encompasses things for those with disabilities. For instance it requires business to have ramps for those in wheelchairs

DEIA is not racist, it helps to combat it. That and sexism. DEIA is something like requiring a business to have pads for women in the bathroom, blind hiring, or even exemptions from shaving. If people were being hired by race and not merit due to DEIA then you’d see an increase in minority caused workplace accidents but this isn’t the case. A white person is more likely to crash a plane than a black person.

Black people are often required to be overqualified for the same position of a white person. You are quite literally safer with a black surgeon or pilot than a white one because of this

Ok so it chooses people based on race or sex to give them benefits? That’s objectively racist and sexist. You can’t argue that it isn’t. That may be the case bc there’s more white pilots than there are black pilots. That doesn’t tell us any new information. That’s just not true. Dei shows that minorities often get into med school despite having worse applications than other applicants. If you heard that there was a rule to give white people more benefits like jobs and other things over other

Races, what would you say about that rule? That it’s racist.

But that’s quite literally isnt the case. Also if DEIA is racist than it would be against minorities since WHITE people specifically WHITE WOMEN benefit from it the most. Also again if unqualified minorities were getting a leg up over qualified white peoples, why hasn’t there been in uptick in workplace accidents involving minorities. Also do you not understand that blind hiring is part of DEIA? Do you not know what that is?

Ok so you think you can’t be racist against white people. Specifically white men. It doesn’t even matter if that’s the case, that it helps white women the most. It helps them because they’re women. Just bc you’re claiming that that isn’t happening doesn’t mean it completely negates the point.

If there are two applicants, one white and one black, and if both of their resumes are the same, the black applicant shouldn’t be accepted just bc they’re black. That’s what I’m arguing. It shouldn’t be policy to choose the black person because they’re black

The white person would quite literally get the job over the black person. Eve though their applications are the same. That has been proven. That’s why DEIA introduces blind hiring. Quite literally it’s been shown that a white person WITH a felony is more likely to get a job over a black perish WITHOUT one. It’s still the case that a person with a black sounding name will get a job over a person with a white sounding name. TRUMP himself was less qualified than Harris.

Ok so does the white person get the job or does the black person get the job bc you’re saying both. Do you agree on the fact that if a white and a black applicant have the same resume, the black person shouldn’t get it just bc they’re black?

Dude reread my reply. I quite literally said the white person would get the job. Quite literally data shows that white people are more likely to get hired over EQUALLY or MORE qualified black people. DEIA is used to combat that racial bias.

Right after that you said, “it’s still the case that a person with a black-sounding name will get a job over a white-sounding name.”

Also addressing this graph m. According to the National institute of Medicine, black physicians are more likely to receive complaints than white people even when given equal care. Racial bias can lead to black physicians being judged harsher than white physicians. Racism in the medical system is something I included in my research paper. Black patients are also less likely to receive pain medication for the same level of self assessed pain than white people. Black women are more likely to die

In pregnancy than white women. This stems from the belief that black people have a higher tolerance than white people. All of this is true and you can look it up for proof.
