Completely agree, liberals will turn into conservatives if you press them too hard It’s the difference between “being an ally” and “looking like an ally” If you believe you are a product of your environment, then you must acknowledge a lot of red states don’t have the same educational base. Exactly!! I can’t tell you how many self proclaimed “liberals” from blue states do nothing to confront their implicit biases in classism, racism, and xenophobia and instead choose to hide them behind a progressive facade only for those ideals to come out in microaggressions.
