Iryna was a victim, and what happened to her was horrific and should inspire policy change in the city of Charlotte. At the same time, white supremacists are using this story to demonize minorities, and that is evil and worth fighting against. George Floyd’s life choices do not mean he deserved to be killed. What happened to him was horrific as well, even more so because his murder was carried out by an officer of the government. Rest in peace to them both.
