Btw when I say “med student” I’m actually in med school, not some undergrad who’s full of themselves and thinks they’re on top of the world

How important is research? I have about 200 hours now and I can talk at length what I did but it seems like everyone has 800+ hours

Probably this lady wearing a crotchless body suit. This was real early in my career and she pulled up to the ER for something I don’t even remember anymore, and when I went to put the EKG leads on she was wearing a crotchless body suit. I didn’t know at the time but those are usually worn after cosmetic surgery, so i thought it was super weird that she was wearing that

Generally speaking yes. There are rare cases where people can be allergic to components of the vaccine, or their immune status makes certain kinds of vaccines contraindicated, but for the 99% of people vaccines are safe and effective at reducing the risk of infection

It depends on which schools you’re interested in. It’s much more important to research heavy schools like UT Southwestern but less important to primary care focus schools

It happens to most people as they age, I can’t say whether he’ll be replaced or not but so far things aren’t looking too hot for the health industry under his admin.

It’s important if you don’t already have the other qualifying things like a stellar GPA, good MCAT, and good letters of recommendation. The amount you have now is fine if you already have those other things. If you don’t, then that’s where more research could kinda make up for some of that
