When judging a persons character you have to take everything into account. Having a Nazi tattoo big negative, having a life devoted to public service and supporting policies that I support big positive. It comes down to whether you believe his story about the tattoos origins. Based on what I have heard him and people close to him say about it I would tend to agree that it was a mistake. A really bad mistake? Sure but potentially not a deal breaker considering the circumstances.
Maybe idk I’ll have to look into the difference between you and I is that my opinion is fluid. Based on new facts I’m always willing to change it. So far I have been to see him in person and was very impressed with what he had to say. I started my “relationship” with him on a positive note. My opinion on him has taken some big hits. I’m still doing my own thinking on whether not to support him. After all he’s running in my state
I don’t live in Maine but the way I see it is that it’s still really early. There’s time to look at the 8 other candidates (7 if you exclude Mills) and see what actual policies they come up with and what track records they have. If it was up to me, I wouldn’t be ride or die for anyone at this point. Unfortunately, it seems like some people online have made up their minds already
Yeah I would still say I’m in my fact finding stage. I haven’t had the opportunity to see others speak but when I heard platner it was at a Bernie rally so I was pretty engaged with the message there. I was disappointed to hear about his past mistakes to be sure but wanted to give him the benefit of the doubt if I could. So we’ll see how it continues to unfold
