Absolutely Yes, but unfortunately if you want to win an election, you need the backing of a major party, at least right now. The way the electoral system is set up makes it impossible for a third party candidate to win, so we’re left competing in the DNC contest.

We should be running our own candidates (even if they likely won’t win their positions) to rally support and educate people in preparation. We shouldn’t be backing the dying moderate liberal party when we should be directly opposing the rise of fascism

Absolutely, personally though I believe our best chance to make immediate change isn’t by running presidential candidates, but by running (and winning) local / state elections and showing people what we can do for people’s communities
