Catholic here! It’s so bad it is being brought up in church because of the aid that is needed in Palestine. It is considered a famine now because Israel is preventing anyone from receiving food

How do you feel about America’s involvement in the affairs of Israel? I think many people believe America is largely using Israel to do its dirty work in the Middle East. Do you feel like the blame for Israel’s actions lies with America? Purely with the Israelis? Somewhere in between?

It’s a two-way way road we use them and they use us. They’ve got insane sway in Congress to give them whatever military aid they want, in return they do our dirty work over there like gathering intel and offering the most powerful Air Force in the Middle East for us to use

For their actions it lies with both, they’re used to getting a blank check from us to do whatever and not face consequences, this has gone on so long they’re now led by an extremist govt that openly flaunts genocide bc they know no one will do a thing to stop it

Yeah that’s pretty much the conclusion I’ve come to as well unfortunately. Do you have many Jewish friends? Or ig do you have any clue how other Jewish Americans feel about it these days?

I grew up with Jewish friends yea and the ones my age feel the same way, it’s our old-timers who are needing convincing that this is not remotely ok
