Two main iterations diverge from that point- not the rally but the golf course (what you find out about the rally is going to be wild) you guys either would’ve come very very close to a civil war or someone much worse than Trump replaces him in 2036. The fascism can would’ve been kicked farther down the road but at least this way the person trying it in this timeline is incompetent so nothing too bad is going to happen:
What’s considered mainstream policies in Europe will slowly become the same in the U.S. you guys should thank your lucky stars you’re in the one where Bernie stays in the Senate. He’s the butterfly effect for more senators like him. There’s one where he leaves office long before Trump and all this and that one is one of the worst iterations.
Historic stock market crash. Trump will eventually be impeached and will go down in your history as one of the worst presidents. There will be a massive sweep of Democrats being elected in office. Party infighting within the Democratic Party will continue but there will be MUCH more progressives. It will take decades for the U.S. to recover. The U.S. dollar won’t be the world reserve currency anymore. China will be the next superpower. And the Russia Ukraine war will eventually start to end.
You’re going to start seeing banks hoard gold. AI will eventually get much better but only when computing technology starts to improve. Calls for regulating AI will eventually come to pass. AI Psychosis will get worse and worse. Quantum Computing and Nuclear Energy will be the next hallmark for your generation. There will be breakthroughs in life-extension for pets and then for people as the population starts to go down and then plateau.
The world will start to polarize towards multiple world powers. America will be similar to Great Britain in terms of soft power. They’ll still be a big player but not so much like before. Pay attention to China, BRICS, and countries in the far northern hemisphere when the ice caps start to melt.
We call them iterations where I’m from. Timelines are massive groups of iterates that branch out into smaller iterations that all start at a specific point in time. A timeline can contain 10^18 iterates. A single iterate can contain 10^36 iterations. And iterations are “timelines” that are almost indistinguishable from each other barring some very small differences that can be catalogued and marked.
Iterations contain the same laws of physics and the universe starts relatively within the same specific points in time. But the very slight differences in when the “Big Bang” happens makes hopping possible. Like running on a treadmill and jumping over to the other one that’s a little slower and started going later.
But be really happy you’re in this one with Trump now. Yes you would’ve had 4 years of peace with Kamala but the pendulum would’ve swung much harder to the right afterwards. And the monster that gets elected in 2032 would be younger, far more competent than Trump, and much more fascist.
You’ll find out that corporations have a lot more direct control over the elections than most people think. (Ask yourself how did the founder of Amazon refuse to criticize Trump in the Washington Post in the final home stretch of the election without apparently knowing he’s going to win?)
Thank you. I guess the best way to explain it is this: There’s only two laws of physics that’s consistent with every known iteration in this iterate. Gravitational time dilation and the 3rd law of physics This means for every iteration that moves forward in time as the universe expands there will be some that move backwards as the universe collapses in on itself. Some do it faster or slower. Which means you can go back and forward in relation to each iteration you want at a point in time.
You’ll eventually find out there are far more intelligent beings out there, and they do NOT like your nuclear weapons. Basically the equivalent of finding out your 8 year old son and their little brother finds the matches. And you have to intervene every once in awhile to make sure they don’t burn the house down.
