It also sets up that culture is just white, black, brown, etc when really it depends on country, region, color, age, religion, etc

I think it just doesn’t make sense to say white culture. There’s no connecting trait amongst all white people besides a lack of melanin

The US is also very young, it’s still kinda developing a culture. We have cowboys, country music, rock… I wouldn’t say there is no American culture but it does vary by region

Immigrant cultures (there’s actually a name for this in anthropology called “pigeon cultures/language)
It can be reflected in the slang that changes by region that can regularly include words from immigrant cultures. (Yiddish, Italian, Spanish, etc)

Maybe it’s an exception in the North East but nobody feels fully assimilated to me everyone is very in touch with what came before.
