I asked ChatGPT if I could fight a grizzly bear in a spiked metal suit with big feet to prevent tipping, it heavily advised me not to do it but it said it was chill for this lady to stop taking her meds

there definitely needs to be restrictions on what chatgpt can generate but also a grown adult taking advice from a computer vs her doctor is stupid

I think this really shows the importance of consulting multiple sources. Always strive to have a deeper understanding of the topic, especially when it comes to health. Always be skeptical of anything an ai tells you.

Yeah can’t believe the person taking 400mg of a drug very well known for causing brain fog might have some impaired judgment. Truly shocking

Ok so an immigrant with impaired judgement is trying to get a job in America. Got it, yea, got it

Yeah? People even with disabilities should still be able to get jobs? What are you trying to even imply here

That immigrants with disabilities need to seek care in their countries.

Like she’s not even stupid, it’s a drug she had to take to STAY ALIVE that often clouded judgement. Do you even know how lamotrigine works?

So do you think ChatGPT shouldn’t have safeguards in place to prevent it from giving medical advice?

Ok so she just has no accountability then? She stopped taking medication and she died and she has no role in that? Im sorry this is, to put it crudely, just a self selecting evolutionary process

Im not a rightoid, you and I probably agree on healthcare and the environment and certainly trump. But the whole immigration thing was predicted on accepting people who help the nation, not sickly people. We have our own sick to care for.

that’s true! AI also shouldn’t tell people to stop taking life saving medication! two things can be true at once!

Not really what I said, she should get the best care possible and while she’s in my country she should have gotten the best care possible. However, she shouldnt hwve been here in the first place. She should have sought care and a life in her country.

You just called it a “self selecting evolutionary process” when people on a very high dose of a medication famous for brain fog end up dead. Don’t try to backtrack on this one

So do you or do you not think that ChatGPT should have safeguards so it doesn’t give medical advice?

Yes ai shouldnt be doing that, but where is the discernment to not listen to it? And if the medication causes impairment, then why is this person qualified to hold a work visa?

I don’t think Palestinians being subject to settler colonialism and genocide is a good thing, yeah The fact you would claim the concept of child marriage is something inherent to an entire ethnicity shows what a slimy little racist fuck you are

When 25% of all girls are forced into marriage that speaks to larger societal issues, no?

That’s not even factually true, there’s other countries in the middle east that have the age of consent laws at 18+ such as the UAE

upvote 13 downvote
🍑
Anonymous replying to -> #5 16h

The reason for child marriage being so common in Palestine is because they are being slaughtered en masse. That doesn’t make it right, but child marriage isn’t something inherent to Palestinian culture. And if you want to fix the problem, you need to fix the problem at its root, which is the ongoing occupation of Palestine by Israel
