While religion may or may not be inevitable, it is the worst thing to ever happen to this world. Centralized religion to be exact.

i think you’ve highlighted the issue, when religion and spirituality becomes institutional and centralized, though i think it matters the intent of the institutions

I would argue it’s mainly Abrahamic religions. Dharmic and other non-abrahamic religions are mainly peaceful and currently there are no known Dharmic groups and organizations that pose an international threat to global security. The Abrahamic superiority complex needs to be addressed because it’s resulted in a lot of non abrahamics, LGBT, indigenous tribals, women, etc. in being oppressed

There has never been a functioning non-religious society. America tried that for a bit and the instability nearly wrecked the global economy. Pythagoras tried it several times with a mathematical society, but all his cults failed as well.

for western christianity, and its imperial logic, yeah i agree that it has been for the worst, but also, not all christian churches are predisposed to imperial logic, primarily just the western ones

I wouldn’t say to eradicate those religions but there has to be a reform movement of some kind

Hindutva isn’t anything like the ones I mentioned. It formed because of the British and Mughal invasions and now it’s spiraled an out of control. You cant be comparing a dharmic faith indigenous to a country to faiths that actively engage in conversion, perpetrated the crusades, Zionism, Islamic terrorism, etc. I don’t condone the genocide in Myanmar either.

Hindus and Buddhists have been wiped out in Afghanistan and are decreasing Pakistan and Bangladesh. The Abrahamic superiority complex yall have needs to be studied because I don’t know what makes us less deserving of resistance or rights just cause we don’t worship God in the same way

Idk who y’all is bc it’s not me. I’m not saying they haven’t been persecuted, I’m saying they fetishization of dharmic religions as perfect and never problematic or used for violence is ahistorical and rooted in neo-orientalism.
