Yeah. We don’t have a culture of parades. Britain and other European nations do them out of history. Britain does their yearly celebration of the monarch’s birthday by “Trooping the Color.” They parade the household division (the fancy fur hat guys) through London to the Horse Guards parade ground and do a ceremony there. They’ve done it for centuries. This is an ego trip. We aren’t Russia, we don’t need a parade to try to prove we have a strong military. We aren’t North Korea. Everyone knows.
