My prediction on Mamdani: A “Democratic Socialist” running the world’s biggest free market/financial hub isn’t going to happen. Do not underestimate how powerful these banks and financial institutions are. A hit piece will go out 1 month before election.

Imagine thinking 2025 New Yorkers will vote GOP just because of a “hit piece” published in a Wall Street rag. 😂

They don’t like regulation, and they don’t like any policies that will hurt their business and profits. Idk what it will be but they will either dig/create a hit piece on him and destroy his candidacy right before the election and Cuomo will win.

They’re not gonna vote GOP but they’re not going to vote for someone that left who threatens their business

No, I’m referring to the heads of these global ultra powerful financial institutions and banks. They are going to do all they can to try and stop him from becoming mayor.

Their vote still only counts as 1.

I agree with you on them not liking regulation & any policies that hurt their bottom line. But they put out tons of hot pieces about him already & none of it is working unless something crazy happens between now & the election I don’t see any hit piece destroying him

That’s kind of the point I’m trying to get at. It’s about timing. If something extremely damaging came out now there’s still over 3 months to the election and most people would forget about it/would die down over time and not truly affect his chances. However, if something of catastrophic magnitude came out about a month to a few weeks before the election it would be fresh in the news and in the minds of voters when heading to the polls.

That implies that have something or can even find something that damaging to begin with. The best they have been able to find is him saying he “doesn’t condemn people saying Globalize the Intifada” and the media as politicians on both sides tried their best to make it a real problem but real people on the ground who vote had no issue with it. He won the Jewish vote even yet according to media most Jews are scared & concerned & couldn’t vote for him because of it.
