if we’re thinking abt the same things, it’s mostly done by autistic (literally, not using it as an insult) teenagers. definitely cringe, but mostly harmless kids trying to find a box they fit into

Respect your opinion but I fuck heavy with microlabels 🙏 in my experience those are used for an in group. You don’t introduce someone to your identity with those terms. It’s like asking someone where they’re from and they give you their address. Correct and specific but not always useful. I’m omnigay demisexual but I just say I’m pan. Those labels are for me since it’s important for me to be able to put a name to my experiences.

I’ll be completely frank, I’m a moderate conservative and I don’t disagree with anything you just said. Hard agree. We should be able to, allowed, and even encouraged to give ourselves whatever labels help us understand ourselves. The step too far is expecting or forcing other people to know wtf any of it means lmao. But yes, I agree with you entirely
