In my elementary school boys took over tetherball to prove they were better than the girls who usually played, but when the girls stopped playing the boys did too. They never wanted to play tetherball, just couldn’t stand the girls having their own thing

I’m not saying they’re evil bad people, it’s just interesting to see their mindset from a young age

I get that but like we all did stupid shit at that age. Girls and guys in my school created made up languages and refused to let the other side learn it. I feel it’s more appropriate to point out that these people just never grow up then “boys just act this way”

I just think it illustrates that boys are conditioned in some way to think they’re above girls, and that continues throughout their lives. Obviously we all did stupid stuff as kids and had gendered differences and that’s normal, but like that incident specifically I just think about a lot

I get that. I just think that’s an issue with people looking down on others for differences instead of just specifically an issue with men. I will agree that men have had control and a power imbalance that negatively impacts everyone.
