Don’t just take my words at face value. You need to seriously re-evaluate why you believe it’s normal for you to blindly believe and act on this.

What is it about the connection between the name Jesus… and its ability to frustrate demons… that is getting such a rise out of all these people? Cuz it’s not just you OP… I havnt seen this kind of a spike in activity over something… ever?

There’s nothing I can say to you if you’re going to just assume things about me anyways. You’re going through something, let me help.

Okay I’ll bite. How do you propose you can help?

You’ll bite as in you’ll listen genuinely or you’ll bite as in you’re going to accuse me of something else after I tell you what I think

I’ll bite as in I’m open to hearing your proposition of how you believe you can help me. I’m not saying I’m going to write a blank check for whatever you deem “help” is. You’re welcome to state what you’re thinking. Is there an accusation… if spoken aloud (or typed in this case) you fear I may deliver? I believe I have been courteous in our conversation to this point so I’m not certain what’s giving you pause to openly communicate.

Well I think you’ll accuse me of being a demon or having one like you’re doing with others under your post. That’s my hesitancy

I mean it’s possible. Like I was saying in the other thread, would either of us know if we had one or several parasites altering our behavior to replicate the parasite rather than us? We could examine our own behavior relative to that of people we know who have a parasite that alters their behavior. Strangely enough, you can use the scientific method to learn which words have parallels, which behaviors have parallels, then track concepts through history that have evolved into other things.

I’m not sure if parasites = demons in most historic contexts, as in, if that’s ONLY what a demon is when they reference them in ancient texts. But examining the eye illnesses described thousands of years ago along with a few others, there certainly seems to be some overlap in concepts between the two: Takes the hosts body, consumes the flesh, alters the behavior via the pattern of consumption/chemicals released, etc.

But it’s extremely unlikely I’ll be able to definitively conclude you’ve got a specific kind of demon and/or parasite in you unless you tell me something I recognize as a dead ringer for one of the parasites/demons I’m aware is widely spread in the west. I could list them, but I don’t see the need.

Like honestly OP, let’s say you say something that I’m like… “hey you might want to eat a bunch of cinnamon and finely ground red pepper and that should kill a specific kind of intentional parasite that does XYZ” that’s not me accusing YOU. That’s me, knowing a bit about the crossover between what religious people call demons, and recognizing you might have a specific kind of intestinal parasite via a very niche professional thing, that you likely didn’t get itthrough any fault of your own, 1/2

2/2 so as my brother or sister through God/The Universe, whatever you wish to call it, I’m genuinely hoping to help you as well rid yourself of something that might be physically eating you, or your food, as it hijacks your biochemistry and alters your body for its needs, not yours. I’m not hitting anyone with a bible here.

Do you not see the issue with setting these standards of what constitutes a demon and then applying it to people who disagree? Is there a chance someone could meet that standard but not have a demon? If not then there’s no ability for you to speak to me as a person, like treat me like a person. Because I’ve already lost in your eyes

On the contrary. I absolutely get the base idea of what you’re saying. But if someone is overzealous and overtly hostile to someone who’s “afflicted” that’s a tell the hostile person has their own brand of demon/parasite in them. That or they’ve just been hypnotized by some cult religious nuts. The way I have that charted (up to this point) , for some reason wrath doesn’t tend to get along with the other 5-6 (exception being pride depending on circumstance) the rest pair and accent one another1/

2/2 but we are sort of making up for lost ground comparing modern discoveries with ancient/words concepts. I absolutely understand your hesitance given the likelihood you’ve encountered many wrathful/prideful people yourself. It’s one of many reasons I make every effort to remain as courteous as possible even when I have people heckling me, so in the event someone does suspect they might have something in them eating at them, they know I mean them, the person, no harm.

I was not treated with kindness when people suspected I had something they did not understand within me. Forgive me for not wanting to share the details, but I understand that cruelty exists in people and is often drawn out by things they don’t understand, things they wish to control. I have no desire to inflict the pain that was directed at me onto other people.

You’re still doing it. The way you’re presenting this seems like there’s no capacity for you to be wrong. Which makes for a disingenuous argument

I can’t unobserve something once I’ve observed it. Like if I was doing a forensic/scientific investigation of something and I found source material linked to a specific species of plant, it’s not like I could unfind it. But there could be another reason it was found in a specific location I was previously unaware of the link between it being where I found it, and my coming across it. It parallels the current situation where despite the fact there are metrics that could lead to a conclusion, 1/

2/2 those metrics alone wouldn’t offer a complete picture as to why I observed what I observed. It certainly wouldn’t constitute “guilt” or a possession over time. Like right now you and I are having a courteous conversation where I don’t sense there’s any sort of pride/greed/lust etc, no physical symptoms of abnormal behavior, etc. No signs of substance abuse. If you’ve ever heard someone say “you’re a different person when you drink” or same with cocaine. That might be a temporary possession3/

4/4 where the cocaine makes someone prideful to the point where they (think) they don’t feel pain. Sometimes lustful to the point they do what they never would have done had they not taken in that much of the substance. Alcohol, I hypothesize, they called “spirits” for a reason. Again I don’t pretend to be the foremost expert, I’m still gathering data. But I’ll tell you right now, I don’t sense the same pride I did speaking to several people last night.

The only people I’ve seen exhibit the behavior of a prolonged possession were those who went through processes/rituals similar to what King James wrote about in his book on demonology (very strange right? The same Jame’s who wrote the modern version of the Bible and appears to have omitted some verses) That’s what my theologian friend and I refer to as “Level 4 Possessed” A completely new identity has taken over the persons body and has dedicated its behavior alterations to a self destructive 4/

4/4 + replication/dispersal cycle because it exists persistently through time via its host (while the host is still alive)

5/5 (separate but relevant point) I bring up courtesy so much because it’s generally a good indicator of a low heart rate and lack of desire for conflict. These things appear to spread with a conflict centered mindset. Desire to have more than one has in the current moment. Courtesy alone doesn’t make a person immune to falling into these traps, but as long as people are being courteous, communication becomes far more effective.
