That’s why I’m sending my kids to a private school!

Also most private schools are religious and definitely still fail if not only at the 3rd point I made, then the 1st point I made.

Agree shouldn’t have to send them to private schools. My private school taught history infinitely times better when I was at public school all we focused on was American and European history while at my private school we learned about Asian history Middle Eastern history, South American history, indigenous history. Maybe some Christian private schools would definitely suppress history the ones at least in my city had much superior history compared to the public system

I mean yeah I’m sure they had a much larger scope in terms of topics covered around the world but did they teach real history? Needs to have a critical lens not just be propaganda. I was in AP history and even there it was still indoctrination.

I wasn’t asking a question to get an answer from you I was asking the question to make a point. That’s what a rhetorical question is. When someone’s asks “do you think money grows on trees?” I’m not asking you about agriculture

Like the fact that my senior leadership class taught us about Abu Ghraib should tell you there ain’t no propaganda here

Just continue the conversation. A rhetorical question is used to make rhetorical point. I didn’t expect an answer to the specific question in a literal why I expected the conversation to simply advance
